Knowing what you own stops being a project

When security asks «how many machines are on this version?», the answer usually costs an afternoon and an out-of-date spreadsheet. Cloud Fortress keeps that inventory alive for you, and turns remediation into tasks with owners instead of email threads.

What it solves
  • Inventory

    Live, not an old photo

Endpoints, software, licences and people kept up to date on their own. When someone asks «what do we have?», the answer is already there.

  • Accounts

    M365 and Google, in order

Account and access governance with visibility of who has what, so you can close the doors that should not be open.

  • Remediation

    Tasks, not email chains

What needs patching arrives as a task with an owner and tracking, not as a notice that gets lost.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

  • Is this going to double my inventory work?

The opposite. The idea is that the inventory feeds itself and stops being a manual task of yours.

  • Does it help coordinate patching between IT and security?

Yes: remediation becomes a shared task with an owner and a status, visible to both teams.

  • What does it actually tell me about corporate accounts?

What you actually ask of an identity directory: who has multi-factor, who is an administrator, who has not logged in for months and who never has. Grouped by Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 tenant, with orphaned accounts and excessive privileges in plain view instead of buried.

  • Can I decide when an account counts as dormant?

Yes. The alerting rules —after how many days without logging in an account counts as dormant, and which situations raise an alert— are configurable per organisation. Every company decides what threshold makes sense for them, because it is not the same in an office as in a workforce with a lot of seasonal staff.

  • How does the estate get into the inventory?

The automatic part comes from an agent deployed on the endpoints that reports their inventory and status. The rest accepts bulk file upload or manual entry. Multi-factor coverage, by the way, is calculated only over the accounts the provider reports on: the denominator is honest, not inflated.
